Christmas 2012

 Oliver's reaction when he came downstairs to see what Santa brought him "WOW" He loved his stocking.  We let him open his stocking and then had breakfast.  After breakfast he opened legos, action figures, and his new kitchen/food.

 He played for a long time in his new "Captain America" apron.

he also got a large tool workshop, basketball and hoop, cars, drawing pad, mickey mouse sing a long book, superheroes, art supplies, ball pit  etc etc etc etc.

Oliver loves playing in the snow, especially now that he has snow pants and boots.

Canadian Thanksgiving

So far two of our "Canadian Thanksgiving"get togethers haven't worked.  On Sunday our friends daughter had a cold and it looks like tonight our friends (both who have newborns) might reschedule since Oliver has a runny nose.  We'll see.  so instead of the real deal we went out for Turkey sandwiches.  Hopefully this sunday we'll get to do the real meal.  

Took Oliver to the children's museum and he grew!  He was able to reach things that he coudlnt' get to last time.  He jsut keeps enjoying parks/play places more and more.  

So here's a photo of our house.  The shutters on the exterior haven't been put up yet.  They did put on some of the porch trim finally and finally finished the fence after two weeks.  Now we're just waiting for them to fix some tile in the entry way and the house will be complete!  

Fall hike

Moved in but still painting.

 It's finally getting a little more Autumn like here.  Last week it was still in the high 80's and nice enough to do a little wading in the community lake.  Oliver loves to go and feed the ducks.

 We painted this weekend but still need to touch up one wall.  Pretty happy with the "skating pond" color.

Coming Along

They finished the roof on our home this week. It's starting to take shape and look like a real house! We're pleased with the front porch and look forward to sitting out there on many a summer afternoon.

Oliver's favorite pastimes

Oliver loves to go to the zoo.  This polar bear has a really funny personality.  He does little water tricks for the first hour the zoo's open.

Oliver loves to carry around his milk and take all of his toys out of the cubby.  

This was Oliver's first fort.  He loved it.  

We usually go to the childrens museum once or twice a week.
